We’re seeking a unique professional to take on a critical role in providing executive leadership support to one of the busiest bodies on the MVP Team, the owner: Gary Park. This role would be a unique combination of Executive Assistant – combining administrative efficiency with customer service.

About Mountain View Printing (MVP):

We’ve had record years for print sales. We’re still growing and we’re looking to invest in a superstar to join the MVP team so we can reach a whole other level. We know we can’t do this without a formidable team and we can’t do this unless the owner is supported.

We already have some of the best professionals in the industry working in our prepress and production departments. We’re now looking for you to help free up the owner to drive business, and bring a new level of administrative efficiency and customer support.

Mountain View Printing has been established in Calgary, Alberta for 40 years. It has been quite a ride. We’ve made it through all the peaks and valleys, and most recently our relentless attitude helped us grow over the two most challenging years for small businesses in Canada.

We have over 600 years of combined print experience in-house and an exceptional 5 star Google rating that you’ll be able to lean on. We continue to expand beyond Calgary, seeking new accounts across Alberta and Western Canada. You’ll be growing and reaching new heights with us, fully supported.

About the Owner:

Gary Park took the helm of MVP after his partner retired in 2023. He’s worked in every facet of the print industry to now become the sole owner and executive lead who also handles key customer accounts that represent over half the revenue of the company.

Gary’s a champion for local small businesses at the heart of our Alberta economy. He’s obsessed with details and is driven to deliver. He thrives on finding solutions for print challenges, raising the bar on customer service and leading the MVP Team to become a “well-oiled machine”.

Required Qualifications:

We’ll be straight because we know what we’re looking for and we won’t waste your time. We’re looking for a fit with our culture and the way we care and serve people. You’re a fit if you have:

  • Capacity to handle multiple data points, manage accurate information, and juggle lots of balls at one time
  • Skills to be articulate and clear in all verbal and written communication and fluent in common administrative and management software
  • Print industry experience on the administrative or management side, working with high performance teams
  • Experience in being an executive assistant or having similar roles in the past that develop the equivalent skills
  • Experience with major accounts that have multi-faceted requirements and more demanding customers that have diverse needs for their print programming
  • Experience in customer care and service that goes above and beyond

Key Responsibilities:

Your core purpose will be to empower and provide capacity to the executive owner of the company, while assuming the following responsibilities:

  • Handle all communications that the owner does not have to handle
  • Collaborate with managers and key team members to ensure smooth workflow
  • Support the owner who is also a top salesperson, as their assistant, so they’re free to drive and nurture more higher value accounts and develop more business
  • Ensure that every MVP customer is informed, taken care of, satisfied and gets what they ordered
  • Administer at a high level to help elevate and make our operations, organization and processes more efficient
  • Help achieve the Executive Goals and Objectives for the year
