Who is our client?

Yaha Maps is an Alberta-based cartography brand focused on creating highly detailed, user-friendly maps for outdoor enthusiasts. Their most recent project—a large-scale, pocket-sized trail map of a previously unmapped area—was not only a passion project, but a first of its kind.

What we do for them:

This 36” x 27” trail map was the first time this area had been published in print, a meaningful project that demanded precision. To bring it to life, we worked closely with Yaha Maps to ensure every detail was accurate and visually crisp, especially the fine topographic lines and intricate trail markings.

We produced hard-copy samples in advance to test fold accuracy and print clarity, and once approved, offset-printed the final run with a detailed accordion fold and optional lamination. The compact design also included a scannable QR code for quick access to digital resources on the go.

The difference that print makes:

This wasn’t just another job; it was the first tangible version of a place. For Yaha Maps, the success of this product hinged on clarity, craftsmanship, and durability. The result? A stunning, foldable map that outdoor explorers are now using, and a project that means as much to the customer as it does to the people relying on it. At Mountain View Printing, we take pride in helping bring meaningful, detail-heavy print products to life.
